26 Beach Restaurant Venice, CA

26 Beach Restaurant Located in Venice, CA on a main strip, Washington Street, that leads right down to the infamous boardwalk is well known for their fabulously delicious food choices and their mega juicy, uniquely dissimilar, craftsmen burgers. They offer almost 30 kinds of burgers, which would satisfy anyone’s palate. If you are looking for a Mexican style burger they have various options, for those of you who are vegetarian or trying to stay healthy while enjoying a relatively unwholesome weakness you may gravitate towards the Namaste Burger. The possibilities at 26 are endless with a sushi burger, thai burger and even a PB and J burger!! The chef’s come up with some extremely mind blowing combinations but let me tell you they know what they are doing. The reviews I have read from those who have had their burgers go into detail about the distinctive flavors that complement each other so perfectly reminding them that what they thought would be a disaster was so utterly divine and oh so scrumptious. Fortunately, they offer a little bit of everything and at anytime of the day, whether its brunch time, lunch or dinner. Chris and myself went to 26 Beach Restaurant for brunch because per usual I spent time reviewing their brunch menu and if you do the same you might just book a flight to LAX! Some important words, 19 different stuffed French toast creations! Everyone needs to indulge in a big fat stuffed French toast every once in a while and for those in driving distance to 26 Beach Restaurant have the upper hand over us Mass residents. I was lucky enough to experience what the chef’s are serving up for brunch at 26 Beach. When first walking in you have a choice of either sitting outside under a glassed in roof with a beautiful display of old time white bench seats and tables to match with decorative throw pillows and cushions surrounded by exotic plants, fountains and other uniquely antique furnishings. The sun was shining through the roof and hitting the umbrella covered tables and we were fortunate enough to enjoy the sun and atmosphere. They also have indoor seating as well with a smaller bar. What is so wonderful about every eatery in California is that they not only offer coffee but espresso as well which makes a girl like me happy especially in the morning! My cappuccino was perfect as was every cappuccino I ordered in Cali. I opened the brunch menu and couldn’t believe my eyes. The list seemed to go on forever with the endless options of French toast. I have to paste a couple for you all to get the mouthwatering effect I had when my eyes scanned this beautifully different brunch menu. S'mores French Toast - Challa Bread French toast stuffed with Nutella & Mashmallow Fluff coated with graham cracker crumbs and topped with our chocolate sauce, whipped cream & strawberries or if this doesn’t interest you how about a tiramisu or Pineapple coconut? They have something for every individual that will surely leave your tummy thanking you! I decided on “The Elvis” which is french toast stuffed with creamy Skippy's peanut butter, banana slices, and blackberry jam. served w/maple syrup on the side. At first I was skeptical as my feelings were mixed with French toast and peanut butter but this was the most perfect combination of flavors I would ever want to indulge in on a morning that my French toast craving sets in. The warm thick cinnamon flavored bread warmed the peanut butter, homemade jam and bananas which made the sinful brunch entrée melt in my mouth, bite after bite. After writing this I think I need to consider heading back to LA earlier than I planned on! Visiting Venice is something that I hope everyone will get the chance to do and you must make time for brunch, lunch or dinner at 26 Beach Restaurant, you will absolutely not be disappointed but overwhelmingly and completely satisfied.
